2nd webinar Social MediaThe project consortium warmly invites you to participate in the webinar "Financing the Climate Transition" which will be held on November 21, 2023 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. This will be the second event in a series of webinars for representatives of local government units, during which invited experts share their experiences and tips on how to effectively implement climate planning in the city.

The event focuses on the city of Zagreb showcasing its financial strategy as it undergoes the Climate Transition. Another important topic on the agenda brings attention to Zagreb’s Energy Information Centre, a valuable resource for citizens seeking information about renewable energy sources.

REGEA is a regional energy agency and knowledge centre providing innovative solutions in the energy and environmental sector, within projects throughout the European Union.

At REGEA, Mr. Velimir ŠEGON coordinates the implementation of energy efficiency projects. He has also worked as an energy project evaluator for the European Commission since November 2014, under the Horizon 2020 programme. Mr. ŠEGON is an expert in renewable energy sources and rational use of energy, in GIS modeling, socio-economic impact analysis and successful project proposal preparation for international initiatives, showing a high dedication towards creating a greener future.

The debates will be held in English, with simultaneous translation in Croatian, Hungarian, Polish and Romanian.
